I went to my third Ultrasound Fat Cavitation (also called Non-invasive ultrasonic fat removal – NUFR) session yesterday. I’m definitely not convinced by this fat loss technique…and glad I only paid AU $99 for the three sessions! My target area was my inner thighs and I have seen NO difference.
In addition, as I mentioned in previous posts, the studio I went to in Sydney CBD near Town Hall, called “Paragon Studios”, was extremely disappointing. I went there anonymously (I didn’t mention the blog), expecting to receive “standard” treatments which I had paid for in advance through Scoopon Australia (AU$99 for 3 sessions).
The owner (Kelly) was not friendly, on each occasion. She did not explain once the machinery or technique (despite my questions) and only gave me brief after care instructions (only after my first session). Her assistant (the one performing the treatment), had a generally friendly attitude, but couldn’t speak or understand English, which offered no way to communicate with her either. All of my questions were left unanswered, I’ve received a very poor service is the least we can say. If you are in Sydney don’t go there.
Mademoiselle Slimalicious’ verdict
- Done three sessions and wasted my money
- No visible results after the three sessions
- Still think it can be harmful to health (it’s harmful to foetus – they tell you to not do it if you are pregnant – so how come it wouldn’t be harmful to us too?)
