To satisfy your smoothie cravings this Valentine’s Day, I am sharing an indulgent and healthy raspberry smoothie recipe, blended with natural protein powder. Smoothies are easy to make and can be a healthy breakfast option provided you don’t use full fat ingredients or sweeteners. To say the truth I don’t really like smoothies – I never drink them. I am not a big fan of dairy beverage or “liquid food”. But they do look very pretty and are a refreshing drink in summer!
- 1/2 banana
- 250 ml pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup of frozen raspberries
- 1 tbsp of protein powder (I used Isowhey Pea and Brown Rice)
- 3 ice cubes
- Place banana, raspberries, juice, protein powder and ice cubes in a blender or food processor.
- Combine until smooth. Enjoy!
